The rapper Lionel Pickens, whom we mostly know as Chinx Drugz, passed away in May, 2015. That time his net worth was estimated at $250, 000. Lionel was born in Queens, New York. He started rapping for fun in his school years, when the boy was bored at a school table and wrote lines instead of doing his homework. Lionel got the nickname “Chinx Drugz” from his then-girlfriend, who named him like that because of his love to smoking weeds
When Chinx was a high school pupil, he started to consider rapping as his future profession. Together with his childhood friend Stack Bundles they founded the band “Riot Squad”, which gained some popularity.
Chinx career entered its next phase in early 2010s, when he met the famous rapper French Montana. Two rappers released EP “Coke Boys Run NY”.
Chinx was preparing his debut album “Welcome to JFK”, but he passed away before the release of the disk. It was presented posthumously and was ranked as the second best hip hop album of the year. So, the rapper made lots of cash after his death.
Lionel Pickens was killed, while he was driving his silver Porsche not far from his home. Chinx performed at a night club “Red Wolf” that evening and then drove to some bar with his friend rapper Antar Alziadi, who performs under the nickname Yemen Cheese. On their way two men were shot by passengers of another car. Antar and Lionel were taken to a hospital, where Chinx’s death was confirmed. Antar managed to survive. The name of the killer is still unknown.
