Born Zhen Zidan grew up in a family of Bow-sim Mark (a mother), who was a martial arts master, and Klyster Yen (a father), who earned his living as a newspaper editor. It was Yen’s mother, who inspired him to practice martial arts. He fell in love with it and was known to combine various styles of martial arts, including wushu and taekwondo.
